My apologies for the delay since the last update. I am currently in China and Hong Kong meeting with suppliers to finalise our 2012 collection and quality checking production of our spring hunting range. I am very pleased with the quality of the latest round of production. The fabric, trims and manufacturing is excellent.
I am no stranger to China, I have been in excess of 30 times and every time the speed and progress that China is developing amazes me. I have never seen anything like it, the change is immense.
I am pleased to give you an insight into a new FurnaceTM mid layer garment the AscendTM top.
Made from a combination of AltusTM 225gm micro fleece and hi wicking ForceTM 4-way stretch fabric. This garment features a technical semi fitted pattern designed to minimise heat loss and promote maximum wicking ability. Force fabric has been placed in the high sweat areas to increase moisture transfer and decrease garment drying time. AltusTM 225gm micro fleece has been used in strategic areas to maximise warmth.
This garment has not been treated with a water repellent. Water repellents are not suitable for mid layer garments as they stop all wicking ability. I will provide more on this in a later post.
– Zippered chest pocket with locking slider
– Low profile thumb holes
– Longer length cut
– ForceTM wicking fabric
– AltusTM 225gm micro fleece
– Light weight and durable
– Resists odor causing bacteria
Colour: Frost green
The AscendTM top is due for release mid August. I will let you know when it arrives and post some high quality images.
