Willis Macbeth – Fiordland Wapiti Bugle

I was lucky enough to draw the Narrows River block in the wapiti ballot this year.  Callum King was to join me for this adventure; always reliable and keen for a good mission.

Even with some reasonably poor weather, we managed to cover most of our block and see about 30 animals of varying quality, but no big bulls.

It was the perfect location to really test out some gear too.  We were kept dry and warm thanks to our awesome Hunters Element gear, see photos below.
