If you’re into getting out into the wild and chasing game through some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, then you’ll know how important it is to protect it.
Wild goats are a serious issue for conservation in Aotearoa – they’re hammering our native forests and stopping regrowth in its tracks. So get involved, do your bit, and win big while you're at it!

So What’s the Big Deal with Goats?
Wild goats might seem harmless, but they’re a major threat to native bush. They eat just about everything in sight – seedlings, saplings, even strip bark off trees – and trample big chunks of land while they’re at it.
That stops native plants from growing back and wrecks habitat for native wildlife. All of that mess makes things worse for the climate, too.
