The Permafrost is where cutting-edge, lightweight, down insulation technology collides with the highly durable, hardcore outer fabric. This puffer is built for the depths of winter, keeping you toasty when taking smoko in the frost and bashing through snowy hillsides. When the work sets in, the tough outer will handle the job much better than the ultralight puffers but still remains light and packable.
The insulation is a 650 fill power RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified down. This fill creates massive heat-trapping space within the baffles. The bonded baffles mean less stitching and water penetration points meaning the Permafrost can hold out light rain and snow, and all wind. Premium features including YKK® zips, zippered handwarmer pockets, an internal mesh dump pocket and internal zip pocket, and PFC-free DWR make the Permafrost a premium, tough, puffer for all winter jobs.

We partner with carriers TollNZ, Courier Post NZ and Aramex NZ to ensure your packages reach you reliably and efficiently. Shipping is within NZ only.

WARRANTIES
1 YEAR WARRANTY
If within one year your Hunters Element product is found to have a manufacturer fault in any way, we will repair or replace it for free.
LIFETIME EXTENDED WARRANTY
We’re so confident in the quality of our gear that if at any point in its life your Hunters Element kit gets damaged, we'll sort you out. If you've torn it on an antler, punctured it with a thorn, or crushed a zip between rocks, we'll repair it (if we can) for a small fee. RETURNS
WARRANTY ISSUES:
Returns for manufacturer defects will be accepted. Please use our Contact Us page to notify us of the issue, including photos and proof of purchase.
INCORRECT MERCHANDISE:
If you received an item different than what was described on the website — wrong size, colour, or style — please get in touch via our Contact Us page and we’ll help you out.
SIZING RETURNS & OTHER:
For online orders where you'd like to change the size of one or more products, please use our returns form. Once we receive the product back (still in brand-new condition with the swing tags included), we’ll process a refund or exchange. Please expect delays during peak seasons and sale periods. Staff hold the right to refuse exchanges or returns.
